Frisella Nursery Named Chesterfield Lifestyle’s Reader’s Choice for Landscaping
St. Louis, February 2, 2018 – Frisella Nursery, a full-service landscape design and build firm named Reader’s Choice for Landscape Design and Pools in Chesterfield Lifestyle Magazine’s Best of Chesterfield reader’s choice poll. Frisella Nursery is family owned and operated and is celebrating its 65th year in business in 2018.
Chesterfield Lifestyle Magazine polled its readers in its November 2017 issue and thousands responded, selecting Frisella Nursery as the favorite in the Landscaping and Pool Building category.
“My grandfather and father have served the Chesterfield community for years and our team is privileged to continue to serve the growing city and its residents today. We enjoy working with the people of Chesterfield to develop a landscape vision for their homes,” said Director of Landscape Operations, Tony Frisella Jr.
Frisella Nursery was founded in 1953 and serves the St. Louis area from its 30-acre garden center in Defiance, Missouri. The garden center hosts gardening workshops and events and houses thousands of plants, trees home decor, and garden accessories. It is also home to an Italian-themed coffee shop, Caffe Angelina and serves as the design office for the landscape arm of the company.
In 2017, Frisella Nursery was honored with an Award of Excellence in landscape design by the National Association of Landscape Professionals and landscape designer Tony Frisella Jr. was named St. Louis Homes and Lifestyles Magazine’s 5 Under 40 Design Stars. Currently, the company is nominated for two St. Louis At Home Magazine Architect and Designer Awards and plans to attend the award ceremony next week.
