Frisella Nursery Honored with St. Louis At Home Architect and Designer Award
St. Louis, February 23, 2018 – Frisella Nursery, a full-service landscape design and build firm is honored with St. Louis At Home magazine’s Architect and Designer Award for Residential Landscape Design. Frisella Nursery is family owned and operated and is celebrating its 65th year in business in 2018.
Winners were selected by a panel of national and international judges. Frisella Nursery’s design team accepted the award at St. Louis Magazine’s dinner and awards reception on February 22nd.
Frisella Nursery was founded in 1953 and serves the St. Louis area from its 30-acre garden center in Defiance, Missouri. The garden center hosts gardening workshops and events and houses thousands of plants, trees home decor, and garden accessories. It is also home to an Italian-themed coffee shop, Caffe Angelina and serves as the design office for the landscape arm of the company.
In 2017, Frisella Nursery was honored with an Award of Excellence in landscape design by the National Association of Landscape Professionals and landscape designer Tony Frisella Jr. was named St. Louis Homes and Lifestyles Magazine’s 5 Under 40 Design Stars. Most recently, the company was voted Reader’s Choice for Landscaping in Chesterfield Lifestyle’s reader’s choice poll.
