FRISELLA LANDSCAPE GROUP HONORED WITH LADUE NEWS DESIGN AWARD (St. Louis, MO, October 25, 2019) – Frisella Landscape Group has received a 2019 Ladue News Design Award for Landscape Design.

Like many Wildwood, Missouri residences, this client’s home was located high on a hill with a wooded slope for a backyard. The challenge was to carve out a tranquil, outdoor landscape and entertaining space complete with Missouri’s first residential natural pool, a waterfall, an outdoor kitchen with a raised garden bed, and a gas fire pit with built-in seating. The construction of two irregular-edge, natural stone stairways are of engineering and artistic mastery and a  testament to the incredible craftsmen we are proud to have on our team. Limestone boulder retaining walls are strategically placed to support the grade and provide structure throughout the three-level space. The BioNova natural pool looks much like a pond, but its natural filtration system makes it acceptable for swimming. We added a stone bench that is hidden beneath the water for ultimate unwinding. This project was both a challenge and a joy to be a part of. We are thrilled to see the landscape thriving as the plants mature and grow into the space.
